Your emergency dental care questions, answered

What type of dental emergencies do you see?

IconIcon
Toothache, lost, chipped or broken teeth, dislodged fillings or crowns, bleeding, pain and abscess. If it’s causing you discomfort - call us, your local emergency dentists.

Can you see me after hours?

IconIcon
Yes absolutely - our emergency dentists are accessible, welcoming and available 24 hours a day to relieve your pain and discomfort.

How do you treat dental emergencies?

IconIcon
Our emergency dental process involves treating pain and discomfort first. Depending on the cause we might be able to complete on-the-spot treatment. For example, we can replace a filling in that same appointment, or we may need to perform an emergency root canal to save your tooth, and this will take several visits. We will need to first see you, provide immediate pain relief, and diagnose the issue, and then provide you with a treatment plan.

When should I go to a hospital for dental pain?

IconIcon
Please note that dental abscesses (learn more about them here) are serious and can lead to breathing and swallowing issues, and brain swelling. If you’ve been in prolonged dental pain and have a high fever, please head to your hospital’s emergency department immediately.
